I have made several ADR's for our trip but I am concerned about the picky eater in our group, my husband! How willing are the restaurants to make substitutions like fries/potatoes for other veggies? I am mostly concerned about our meal at Akershus. Thanks!

Hi, Alisa! Disney World is all about receiving the best customer service you'll ever see ANYWHERE. Yup.

You want extra mayo with your fries, Joel? You bet I do.

The restaurants are very accommodating and willing to make reasonable substations if they have the capability to do so. And I'm not just talking about mayo in place of ketchup. Uh uh.

Specifically, at Akershus, the kids menu for lunch and dinner offers boiled potatoes as a side. This could be an option for him to request in the event he finds himself at a loss.
