Bright Suns, Ally! Welcome to planDisney.
Disney's Hollywood Studios is my very favorite theme park to visit after dark. The dreamy neon on Sunset Boulevard, the brightly-colored lights Andy strung up in Toy Story Land, and the galactic glow of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge combine to create the most beautiful atmosphere. You have timed your reservation at
Savi's Workshop perfectly, in my opinion!
Since your reservation is 65 minutes after Disney's Hollywood Studios closes for the day, you are going to have a great opportunity to do my favorite thing - explore the theme park, notice Disney details, and take photos. Swoon! Cast Members allow Guests to slowly exit the park after closing, because some are shopping, finishing meals, or exiting attractions. If anyone asks you, just let them know you have a reservation at Savi's Workshop at 10:05 (just don't say it too loud - First Order spies are everywhere, and they'd love to know the secret location).
I would recommend getting in line for a must-do attraction about 30 minutes before the park closes to really make the most of that time.
Slinky Dog Dash and
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror are extra-fun in the dark!
In my experience,
Walt Disney World Bus Service schedules take into account the times that the last Guests will be exiting experiences and dining reservations. Feel free to stop by Guest Relations to ask about the last bus departure times and they'll be happy to assist. Once your saber is built, you'll probably find Cast Members directing you out of the park and toward buses.
Have an incredible time at Savi's Workshop, Ally! It's one of my favorite experiences anywhere at Walt Disney World Resort, and I know you are going to feel the Force flowing when you activate yours for the first time. As you explore the planet of Batuu at
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, be sure to look up, down, and all around you for the fantastic details in this land. One of my favorite things is seeing droid tracks in the ground!
I'm raising my blue milk in a cheers to your Star Wars adventure!
May the Force be with you,
Robyn
