    Hi Angie,

Thank you for submitting your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! This is a great question! I too would want to save money. The Dining Plan is great but if you need to pay out of pocket then I would suggest you pay for the least expensive meal.

I did some detective work for you so that you can get an idea of the price range for each restaurant and maybe this will assist you in reaching a decision. Keep in mind that the restaurants offering Buffet or Family Style Meals, include desserts, non-alcoholic beverages, and the tax in the price. Also the prices range depending on the season.

Chef Mickeys:  Buffet -  Adult price range: $41.53-$45.79; Child (ages 3-9) price range: $20.23-$22.36

Coral Reef:  A la Carte:  Adult price range: $18.99 - $31.99; Child (ages 3-9) price range: $8.99

Crystal Palace:  Buffet:  Adult price range: $39.40-$43.66; Child (ages 3-9) price range: $19.16-$21.29

'Ohana:  Family Style:  Adult price range: $35.14-$39.40; Child (ages 3-9) price range: $17.03-$19.16

    Rainforest Cafe:  A la Carte:  Adult price range: $12.99 - $30.99 ; Child(ages 3-9) price range: $6.99 - $7.99

    Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater: A la Carte: Adult price range:$12.49 - $24.99; Child (ages 3-9) price range: $8.99

    T-REX Cafe: A la Carte (Lunch) : Adult price range $13.99 -$32.99; Child (ages 3-9) price range: $6.99 - $7.99

    Hope this helps!
