I made a resort and flight plan through Westjet for Sept. I also got tickets through disney separately & linked everything to my disney account. Could I buy a dining plan through disney & than apply for the free dining promo when available?

    Hi, Adam!

To be able to purchase the Disney Dining Plan, you would need to purchase your entire package (room/tickets/dining) all at one time as a Disney Package.  Since you booked your room separately through a third party, your reservation would not be eligible for the Disney Dining Plan.

Hakuna Matata, no worries!  You can still enjoy al the great dining options, you just need to pay as you go. Make sure to begin booking your dining reservations as soon as you hit your 180 day booking window. Locations such as Chef Mickey's, Be Our Guest, or Cinderella's Royal Table book up quickly, so plan ahead.

Wishing you a magical vacation in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
