Greetings, Annette, and welcome to planDisney! The
World of Color Dessert Party is a lot of fun. I went with my mom and sister a few months ago, and we all had the best time. I'm glad it's on your radar.
According to the
Hours and Events Calendar, it appears that
World of Color Happiness! is currently scheduled for one performance on select nights in September 2025. At the time of writing this, I don’t see any second performances of this nighttime spectacular listed for next month. Keep in mind that schedules can change, so it’s a good idea to check back periodically. We do know that there are fewer World of Color performances in September and October because the park will close early on certain nights for the
Oogie Boogie Bash.
Considering this, Annette, it might be a good idea to
reach out to Guest Services to confirm the details of your dining event reservation. Start by pulling up the email with details of your reservation to find the date, showtime, and confirmation number. You can also find it in the
Disneyland mobile app by tapping on the icon with the three lines at the bottom of the screen (☰), and then tapping "Future Plans." As long as the reservation was made under your account, a Cast Member should be able to look it up and provide more information.
Here are some other ideas you might want to consider for your trip:
- Make sure to see the Paint the Night parade. It's one of my favorite nighttime shows – floats and performers illuminate the parade route with one million colorful LED lights. There are typically two performances daily. I can usually find a great spot to watch the second show without having to get there too long before.
- Consider Character Dining to enjoy a sit-down meal while being visited by Disney pals! Clarabelle’s Enchanted Halloween Dinner at Storytellers Cafe seems like it would be a lot of fun. Plus, I know there are some excellent dessert options as part of the buffet.
- Disney’s Happiest Haunts: The Villains' Trail Guided Tour is a two-hour experience full of spooky stories and interesting facts. It comes with reserved viewing of the Halloween Screams show, too! Ideally, you'd take the tour on a date when fireworks are scheduled, which you can look for on the Hours & Events Calendar.
Annette, I hope you are able to sort out your World of Color Dessert Party reservation. Have a fantastic time at the Disneyland Resort next month. If you have any other questions between now and then, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
Sprinkling pixie dust for you,
