Made my reservations and was wondering if these are good choices for my 9 year old. Boma,1900 Park Fair,Hoop Dee Doo,Sci Fi, Coral Reef. 50's Prime Time will be our only lunch. How is Coral Reef? Thanks

    Hi KarieAnn,

Sounds like you have done a good deal of "Disney homework" and snagged some fabulous reservations!  The Hoop Dee Doo Review is a wonderful, interactive dinner show that gets the crowd involved and laughing their way through a hilarious meal!  Sci Fi Dine in Theater is one of the best-themed restaurants at Disney.  What kid (or adult, for that matter) wouldn't want to sit in a convertible, eat burgers and drink shakes and watch movies?  Boma offers a fantastic all-you-care-to-eat buffet with African-inspired dishes.  We LOVE the breads here.  1900 Park Fare is one of our favorite character meals.  Their buffet is the most upscale (in my opinion) of the character meals.  Be sure to try the cold strawberry soup - yum!

Coral Reef is a great choice for a seafood dinner or lunch while enjoying Epcot.  Every table affords a prime view of a huge, floor-to-ceiling tank filled with exotic sea life (and an occasional diver!)  The kids get special cards that help them identify what's floating past them.  My kids have a race to see who can "check off" all of the fish on their cards.  My only word of caution with Coral Reef is that the menu has limited choices for "land lubbers."  I ordered the chicken a while back, and have to admit, I was less than thrilled.  The seafood, as you would expect, however, is fantastic, and consistently good!

I think you have planned a Disney Dining extravaganza!

    Bon Appetit!
