    I have made reservations at WL for Dec 8 - 15 2013, just found out about Pop Warner should I change to the week before this to avoid crowds or will it matter? I made the res. thinking I would avoid PW now I find out I'm going the same week.What to do?

    Hi Darla! I recently checked on dates for activities in the ESPN Wide World of Sports venue and some of the Pop Warner events actually start on December 1. I would not change your reservations as there is going to be some sort of activity going on whether it is Pop Warner or others.

    I have been to Disney many, many times during this time and have never been affected by this activity. Now and then you will see groups of children but they have been chaperoned and  well behaved. They normally will book the value resorts such as All Star Music, Sports, or Movies with their large group numbers. It should have a minimal affect for you and therefore would not change. The biggest crowds you might run into would possibly be the guests who come for the Christmas parade taping. If you are there when that is taking place simply head to other parks for that Saturday and Sunday. No matter what week you go you will find many wonderful holiday happenings for you and your family!
