Hi Rebecca!
I’m so excited to hear that you are planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation for later this year! You are going to have so much fun exploring the magic of the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs and since you are visiting during the holiday season, your trip will be extra special!
On select nights in November and December,
Magic Kingdom closes early to host
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. On party nights, the theme park closes at 6:00 p.m. and after that time, only Guests with tickets to that evening's party will be able to enjoy the theme park's attractions, dining and entertainment. While the party's special festivities begin at 7:00 p.m., Guests who were enjoying Magic Kingdom during the day and do not have party tickets will be directed towards the park exits once it closes at 6:00 p.m.
So if you will be visiting Magic Kingdom during the day and you won't be enjoying that evening's party, unfortunately, you will need to either make an earlier reservation for
Tony's Town Square Restaurant or make a reservation for a restaurant outside of the theme park. There are some incredible restaurants at the Disney Resort hotels on the resort monorail which would be great options to visit after your day in Magic Kingdom. I love the Hawaiian-style feast at
'Ohana and
Chef Mickey's is always a great choice if you are interested in enjoying a Character Dining Experience. Another option is to head over to
Disney Springs to end your day by enjoying one of the fantastic restaurants in that area. One of my favorite Disney Springs restaurants is
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin', where you can get incredible Florida-inspired cuisine.
Let us know if we can help you again as you continue planning your vacation. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
