Tammy from AZ Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I made reservations for the Star Wars tour at Hollywood Studios this May. The tour will take several hours, and includes the nighttime show - about how long we will have to ourselves off-tour. Specifically so I can make FP reservations for other rides.

    Greetings, Tammy!

We're so pleased you've stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel to share your vacation plans with us. Thank you! It's wonderful to hear your family will be experiencing the space-tacular Star Wars Guided Tour at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It's out of this world!

The tour starts promptly at 8 a.m. and lasts several hours including a delicious lunch. You're then given a gap to enjoy the park yourself before returning for a reserved viewing of Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular nighttime fireworks event. If the schedule stays the same as it has been, I think you'd be safe making FastPass+ selections anytime after about 1:30 p.m.

Have a magical vacation, Tammy, and please let us know if you have any other questions about your trip to Walt Disney World Resort.

May the Force be with You,
