Hello, I've made reservations to Sanaa for dinner @ 7:15pm after we visit Animal Kingdom. But I'm wondering how we would be able to get back to our hotel at Pop Century since the park closes at 8pm on February 19th. Please let me know. Thank you.

    Hi Samantha,

Ooh, you are in for a treat at Sanaa! The restaurant's African- and Indian-influenced flavors are among my family's favorites at Walt Disney World.

To get from the Animal Kingdom theme park to Sanaa, you will need to take the bus to the Kidani Vallage section of Animal Kingdom Lodge, which is not directly accessible from the park. Make sure you visit the animal viewing area outside the restaurant before or after dinner.

After dinner, you have a couple of options to get back to Pop Century. You can catch a Disney bus to Downtown Disney, then transfer to a Pop Century bus. Or, the faster way, would be to catch a taxi from Animal Kingdom Lodge to your resort. That isn't free, but should cost less than $20, including tip.

My family uses the free Disney transportation almost exclusively during our visits, but occasionally spring for a cab when it will save us a good deal of time. In this case, the taxi ride would take about 15 minutes. Cabs are readily available in front of the hotel. The bus transportation could take as long as an hour.

i hope that is helpful. Please let me know if I can answer any more questions for you as you plan your visit. I'm happy to assist.

    Enjoy!
