Hi there, Dorothy! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. Let's jump into answering your questions and get all your Donald Ducks in a row!
I'm so happy to see that you have
theme park tickets and
theme park reservations as both are required for entry. It sounds like you have purchased tickets for your daughter and her friend but will not be heading into the parks with them. Currently, all tickets and reservations are delivered digitally, so you will not receive anything physical in the mail. When you purchased your tickets, you should have received an email confirmation with a subject similar to "Disneyland Confirmation". Be sure to check your spam folder if you don't see it in your inbox! The ticket confirmation email will have a button to "Access Your eTickets". Here, you can actually print out hard copies of the tickets with the bar codes. These are the theme park tickets that your daughter and her friend can bring to the Main Gate to be scanned for entry. Once scanned, a hard ticket will be printed for them to use throughout the day.
They will also need a printout of the QR Code, which reflects their theme park reservation and will also be scanned at the Main Gate. This should have arrived in a separate email usually with a subject similar to "Disneyland Theme Park Reservation Confirmation".
If for some reason, you have not received either of these emails, I would recommend logging into your account on the Disneyland website using the same email and password used to purchase the tickets. Once you are logged in, navigate to "My Disneyland" and "Ticket and Reservation Details" from the drop-down menu. You should be able to view tickets and theme park reservations here to make sure all is in place. Another option would be to give our
Guest Services team a call ahead of time as they can tap into your account to see that everything is in order. You can reach them at (714) 781-4636. You can also
visit the Main Entrance Ticket Booth to have them re-issue the tickets. One thing to note is that the Guest whose name appears on the original credit card used for the purchase will need to be present with a photo ID and the original credit card.
If your daughter has a smartphone, she can actually download the Disneyland Mobile App and log in to your account. Then she would have access to the ticket barcodes directly. When she opens the app and logs in, she could tap on the three-bar menu in the bottom right-hand corner and select "Tickets and Passes". Here, she should see any active tickets you have purchased through your account which can be scanned at the Main Entrance Gate. Within the app, she could also tap into "Future Plans" and have the theme park reservation QR codes resent. They will be sent to your email address and you can either print them or screenshot them for her to bring with her for entry. She would also be able to place
Mobile Orders for meals and snacks and make Lightning Lane Selections if her tickets include
Genie+! My personal favorite is to Mobile Order some Mickey beignets from the Mint Julep Bar while I'm in line for Haunted Mansion so they are ready and waiting for me!
Dorothy, I know that was a lot of information. If you have any follow-up questions, feel free to reach out to me or any of my
planDisney panelist friends for some additional support!
Magic awaits!
Tara
