I have made reservations for 6 people at Kona Cafe for breakfast, if I show up with an extra person, will they still seat and serve us?

    Hi Kristen,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question. Breakfast at Kona Cafe is one of my absolute favourite meals at Walt Disney World Resort! You really can’t go wrong with any of the choices on that outstanding menu, though I definitely have a weakness for the macadamia nut pancakes…

We often have other friends and even family members decide to join us on our Disney Parks adventures at the last moment, which often creates a bit of havoc with my carefully chosen dining reservations! While I always try to modify our dining reservations in My Disney Experience to add our newcomers, sometimes it isn’t possible. I’ve typically found that, if I show up with one extra person for a reservation (and I explain the situation nicely to the Cast Member at the podium), they’re usually able to accommodate our larger party.

My recommendation would be to show up a few minutes early for your reservation and be prepared to wait a bit if it’s a particularly busy day at the Kona Cafe.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
