If I made reservations for 4 people but we end up being a party of 5, will the restaurant accept our reservation or will we be turned away? The reservation is for 8:30 at Magic Kingdom.

    Hi, Laurie!

Depending on how busy the Magic Kingdom restaurant is on the day you are there will determine how your additional guest will be handled. Because you are late in evening, you should be fine. I had to do this before, and I stopped by the restaurant before the dinner rush and told them about my extra guest. This gave them a heads-up for my change of plans. You may have to wait a few extra minutes for your table, but just find out when you ask at the podium how/if it can be handled.

Your easiest option is to modify your existing reservation. I would call (407)WDW-DINE and ask if they can change your reservation. If not, just keep it and follow my tips from above. Hopefully you will all be seated easily and get to enjoy a wonderful evening of dining and magic in the beautiful Magic Kingdom!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
