    Giao from CA Asked

If I made reservations at one park and actually want to go to the other park and arrive after 1pm, can I enter either park? If I have to enter the park I made reservations for, can I enter then exit and enter the other park right away, arriving after 1pm?

    Hi Giao,

Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for sending us your questions! We’re happy to help you plan your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.

My family and I love the flexibility of Park Hoppers! At the Disneyland Resort, it is convenient and easy to “hop” across the Esplanade from one park to another. You get to enjoy all the pixie-dusted fun of both parks in one day! Giao, if you wish to arrive to the Disneyland Resort after 1 PM, you can enter either park. The park that you select online during the reservation process is the first park you are able to experience prior to 1 PM. This helps with park attendance when many people wish to visit early in the day. However, at 1 PM, you have the flexibility to visit either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park regardless of which park you selected on your theme park reservation.

The only caveat to this is if you plan to join a boarding group for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at noon. You will need to have scanned your ticket for entry into your first park before noon in order to access the virtual queue on the Disneyland mobile app

If you have more trip-planning questions, please feel free to write us again. We’re all EARs.

    See ya real soon,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
