Welcome Home, Cindy! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. My, oh my, what a wonderful day it is when I get to help out a fellow
Disney Vacation Club Member! It's great to hear that you have a reservation lined up for this fall, and I'll be happy to help with some tips to make the most of your time at
Walt Disney World.
Disney's Old Key West Resort is the place that started it all for DVC! This is a great spot, with Key West vibes and a practically perfect location. We have enjoyed several stays at Old Key West in the past, and I really like the relaxed feel - it is a nice change of pace after a busy day in the theme parks!
The 2-Bedroom Villas are really fantastic, with plenty of room for your nearest and dearest to make vacation memories. These accommodate up to 9 Guests (plus one infant) and feature a full kitchen. We'll often have breakfast in our villa to save some time and money, and it's great to have the option to cook if you're enjoying a lazy day at the resort or whip up some sweet treats for your crew.
Cindy, there are a few different options for 2-Bedrooms at Old Key West. The resort offers both standard villas and "Lock-Off" Villas - the Lock-Off is essentially a 1-Bedroom Villa combined with a Deluxe Studio. While DVC Members can select a location near the Hospitality House at the time of booking, it sounds like you perhaps have a specific building in mind!
To add a request for your preferred location, simply call or chat with
Member Services. I generally prefer to call, but some of my planDisney pals have shared that the chat feature works just as well! The helpful Cast Members will be able to add the information to your reservation. While this doesn't guarantee the exact location you're hoping for, you can rest assured that the crew at Old Key West will do their best to work some magic for you!
September will be here before you know it, and I'm sure you will have an amazing time enjoying The Most Magical Place on Earth. If you have any other questions about your fall vacation or your DVC Membership, please
reach out again anytime - we're all EARS!
Stay Magical,
Susan
