Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Xiaojun. Thanks for stopping by to ask us your question.
Are you getting so excited about your upcoming
Walt Disney World vacation? It will be here before you know it! My family and I vacation at Walt Disney World over the week of Christmas every year. The theme parks are dressed up in their holiday best and it is so festive and fun!
Xiaojun,
park pass reservations for the week of Christmas do tend to get swooped up rather quickly. It's one of the busiest times of the year. However, park pass reservation availability does change. As people's itineraries and plans change, they'll drop park pass reservations and spots do open up. My best advice to you is to keep checking back. I've had good luck grabbing park pass reservations early in the morning or late at night, especially the closer it gets to the actual date.
Another idea would be to stop by Guests Services once you get to Walt Disney World and explain the situation. They may be able to help get your child a park pass reservation for the theme park the rest of your family will be at for that particular day.
Do you have the
MyDisneyExperience mobile app downloaded on your smartphone device? If not, I highly recommend it before your trip. If you have the app, there is a feature to chat with a Cast Member in Guest Services, and they may provide you with a better solution ahead of time. To start a chat, open the app and sign in if prompted. Then, select the menu bar - this is the three horizontal blue lines on the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. Then, scroll down until you see the "Chat With Us" option and select that. This will open up the chat and you will be placed in a queue for the next available Cast Member. There, you can explain the situation and see if they can help you.
I hope this helps give you a few ideas, Xiaojun. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Good luck!
Jackie H.
