Hey there, Troy! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks so much for stopping by with your ticket question.
I'm happy to share that having your name on both the tickets will be no problem at all. Once you get to Disneyland Resort and activate your tickets to enter the park, they will scan your ticket and take your picture. The picture is what will assign the ticket to someone. And you have theme park ticket reservations too so it sounds like you are all set!
Now that you are ready to enjoy The Happiest Place on Earth, I'd love to share a few tips!
If attractions are high on your priority list, I highly suggest looking into purchasing
Disney Genie+ service. You can do this as soon as you are scanned into your first park for the day. This will allow you to make Lightning Lane selections throughout the day and avoid a lot of standby lines. I've used it quite a few times in the parks and I'm quite impressed with how many attractions we were able to fit in one day! It also includes unlimited digital PhotoPass downloads. This is such a fun addition to the service. The photos will upload right to your Disneyland app and it's so fun to have those ridiculous attractions rides and fun PhotoPass moments to keep.
Speaking of the
Disneyland app, since you've made theme park ticket reservations you should already have a Disney account. Make sure you have the app downloaded and you are logged in before you get to the parks. You'll be able to access your tickets, purchase and use Disney Genie+, and so much more. You will have the park maps and wait times at your fingertips. This is also where you can join the
walk-up list for participating table service restaurants or
mobile order your food from most quick-service locations. I love any chance to avoid a line, so I think mobile ordering is amazing!
Troy, I hope this information helps you get ready for your upcoming trip. Come back and visit us again soon if you have any other questions!
