Hiya Anne,
Welcome to planDisney! A visit to
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and a late lunch at
Cinderella's Royal Table is an itinerary fit for magical royalty. The core memory you have planned for your princesses will last a lifetime.
So I chatted with a Cast Member (she helps organize Fairy Godmother's appointment book), and she says that, generally, most makeovers take between 30 minutes to an hour to complete. However, she advised that Guests should allocate 90 minutes total per transformation (including changing into a Princess dress and a photo shoot) to be on the safe side. Each royal transformation is unique, so time with Fairy Godmother's Apprentices will vary from Princess to Princess (and Knight to Knight). Since you have a reservation for two, typically, they will happen simultaneously, which means you should be complete with almost an hour to spare. In rare instances, one transformation might start a little before the other, but even if that is the case, since your dining reservation for Cinderella's Royal Table isn't until 2:15 p.m., you should still have plenty of time plus a little buffer should you need it.
Anne, if that window is too tight for comfort, I recommend checking the dining reservation website (and/or your
My Disney Experience mobile app) starting the week before your visit. I've had great success getting last-minute reservations for locations like Cinderella's Royal Table. Guests' plans constantly change, and you could find a later reservation if you want one. If you aren't able to, I wouldn't worry, though; I think you will have plenty of time to do both transformations, take photos, and maybe even grab a quick snack before your reservation.
I hope this was helpful, Anne. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
