I made reservations for my family of 6 starting August 29 2015. I have learned that Disney sometimes offers the dining plan for free starting about that time in August. If the free dining plan should be offered by Disney during the week we are there, can

    Hi there William,

Unfortunately, the end of your question was chopped off, but I think I understand what you were asking.  It's always a good idea to go ahead and book your Walt Disney World Resort vacation reservation as early as possible because this way, you'll insure the resort and dates that you most prefer.

Disney does periodically offer special promotions, including Free Dining, which is the one it seems everyone is waiting for!  It's really such a great deal, so it's not too hard to understand the popularity of this package.  There is really no way to predict or determine when or if this promotion will become available for your specific travel dates, but if it does, you will be able to call the Walt Disney Travel Company to try to take advantage of a package that includes the better deal.  You will want to keep a close watch over the Special Offers section of the Walt Disney World website so you know as soon as the promotion is announced.  There are limited spaces available so you'll want to be among the first to call!

Hope this helps.  Please be sure to let me know if you have additional questions, William!
