I have made reservations to eat at La Hacienda de San Angel at 7:45 p.m. during our Nov. trip. There are 9 of us. Will this enable us to see Illuminations at 9:00? Can we stay to see the show if we are finished with our meal? What is the view like? Thanks

Hello Joan!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My wife and 2 friends experienced IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth from within La Hacienda de San Angel during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation last year. It was an Endlessly Magical Experience made extra special by the ambience, altered lighting and audio pumped into speakers within the restaurant.

When we booked our experience, we scheduled our Advanced Dining Reservations for 8:00pm, and were only halfway through our meal when the fireworks began.  We were not rushed during our dining experience and the Cast Members who serve at La Hacienda de San Angel are aware that Guests who book Advanced Dining Reservations for around that time are planning on staying for the Fireworks.

I recommend that you inform the hostess upon your arrival and the server for your table upon arrival of your plans and I am sure they will be glad to accommodate your experience.  When you book Advanced Dining Reservations for a party of 6 Guests or more, the 18% gratuity is automatically added to the bill for your meal. Take advantage of the experience, do not rush and spread out your meal to enjoy your dining experience before, during and after IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.

    Bon Appétit!
