    I have made reservations to eat at DHS. What if it ends up being the same time we are called up to ride Rise of the Resistance? I don't want to get hit with a $10. a person charge for missing our reservation time.

    Hi there, Toni, and welcome to planDisney! I’m so glad you stopped by with your question, It sounds like you have an incredible day planned at Disney’s Hollywood Studios during your next Walt Disney World vacation! Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is an incredible, immersive experience, and one that I cannot wait to share with my own kids soon now that they’re officially full-fledged Star Wars fanatics! You’re in for a real treat. 

    With so many exciting plans and the unpredictability of the boarding group timing, it sounds like you are concerned that your Dining Reservation may be affected. Do not fear, Toni, because I have a plan that I think will ease your mind a bit. Once you are informed of your boarding group window, you will be notified that you have 2 hours to report to the attraction. If you are already seated at the Restaurant you’ve chosen, hopefully this gives you plenty of time to finish the meal you are enjoying. If you still have not sat down to eat and you are within 2 hours of your Dining Reservation window, I would suggest one of two things. First, you could stop by the Restaurant to inform them of the issue and they may even be able to check if they can accommodate you at a later time. Second, you could call the Disney Dining Reservations line to explain your dilemma and I know they will make it right! Luckily, even if you have to forego your Table Service dining reservation to enjoy this amazing attraction, please know that there are many Quick Service dining locations available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios that are sure to please! The full list of available dining options during the Phased Reopening is being updated on the Dining "Know Before You Go" pages. May I suggest Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo? You can even take advantage of Mobile Ordering in advance to save time!
