    Hi all...I just made reservations for early part of December. We got the meal plan and it will be my daughter's first trip (age 5). Now the hard part, it seems all the character restaraunts are already booked. What can we do without ADR?

    Hello! It's always thrilling to book your trip to Disney World. But then sometimes the frustration hits when it seems you can't make the dining reservations you want. But remember, you're heading to the happiest place on Earth and your little Princess will love just about anything and everything you do! If there are specific Restaurants you have your heart set on, don't give up. If you haven't already, call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE. The Cast Members there can take a look to see if there are any times your family can be "squeezed" in that you may have overlooked. And that's my second suggestion: be open to non-traditional times. Eat lunch a little later or have dinner a bit earlier. If this still does not work, when you arrive on property, check again with Disney Dining to see if any last minute reservations have opened up. Sometimes Guests will have to cancel when plans change and you and your family will benefit! Another tip I tell families is to not overlook character meals in the Resort Hotels. Often times we forget about breakfast at Cape May Cafe or dinner with Cinderella at 1900 Park Fare. And that makes these hidden gems a gold mine for families like yours! I hope is helps. Good luck!
