I made reservations for Disney's Pop Century Resort. Now I am worried that I should have made reservations at one of the moderate hotels. Should I try to "upgrade" my reservations? Is it even posible to upgrade?

Mari it is possible to upgrade and change your resort accommodations if you choose to do this for your upcoming vacation.  You will get a few more amenities with a moderate resort that include small refrigerator in your room, more extensive themed pools, more on site recreation, and more dining opportunities.  I think you need to simply ask if you feel you are going to spend a great deal of time at the resort or want to spend time at your resort and if you answer is yes then I would upgrade to the moderates.  For those families that want a room strictly to sleep in at night for a few hours and won't be using the resort facilities the value resorts are perfect for their use.  For those who are looking for a relaxing location to spend time away from the parks then I strongly suggest the moderate and the deluxe resorts.
