Hey there, hi there, ho there, David,
You’re as welcome as can be to planDisney. I’m happy to help with your Disneyland Resort planning. It sounds like you are just about ready to enter a “world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy.” And you seem to be on top of things with working on obtaining the needed theme park reservations.
To book
theme park reservations, Guests must have a valid
theme park ticket that is
linked with their Disneyland Resort account. Tickets can also be linked in the
Disneyland app. Guests can check to see if tickets are already linked in the “Tickets and Passes” section of the mobile app, or by
starting to make a theme park reservation online. If a theme park ticket purchase is combined with a hotel reservation in a
Disneyland Vacation Package, a Travel ePackage will be delivered electronically to the Guest’s account four days before arrival. Once that ePackage is delivered and the theme park tickets are linked in the account, theme park reservations may be booked.
Tony’s Tip: When the
Disney Genie+ service is pre-purchased with theme park tickets, Disneyland Resort Guests can book
Lightning Lane times and download
Disney PhotoPass photos for each day they use their tickets. If Genie+ is not pre-purchased, the complementary
Disney Genie service is included with all regular theme tickets and Genie+ can be purchased separately on a day-by-day basis. Check out this
video tutorial series about using the Disney Genie service.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, David. I hope you have a magical time during your Disneyland Resort Vacation.
