Hey Howdy Hey Rachel and welcome to planDisney!
There are so many great hotel accommodations with exceptional Disney touches from
Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel options. You are sure to have a Magical experience at one of the many selections. While one of the big benefits of staying at a Good Neighbor Hotel is the proximity to Walt Disney World Resort, there are many others that we can discuss.
Being so close to Walt Disney World is a perk itself, but also having shuttles to and from your hotel to the parks is key, although a fee may apply. Having the options for booking your hotel in a vacation package as well as having a Guest Service desk in these hotels are some of the other perks to make your trip as Magical as possible. Another great perk is the access to the parks early. While not all Good Neighbor hotels qualify for this benefit many do and you can see a list of hotels on the
Early Theme Park Entry page.
Disney Genie+ is also another one that Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels and other select hotels will have the option to book their Genie+ selections at 7:00 a.m. the morning of their park reservations rather than when the park opens for all other Guests. The big takeaway from this is that there are benefits, but each hotel offers variations of them. It is best to get in contact with your hotel for the most up-to-date list of benefits that are offered.
All Disney Good Neighbor Hotel Guests will be able to see their reservations on their
My Disney Experience account as well. The easiest way to link your reservation to your account is online through your My Disney Experience account. Go to the "My Plans" section and at "Resort Hotel" you should see an option to "Link Reservation". Follow the prompts and you should be able to see your reservation linked as well as see it on your My Disney Experience app.
Looks like you will be visiting during my favorite festival of all times over at EPCOT. With
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, there is no better way to kick off the start of another growing season! So many cool flower and garden displays, interactive tutorials and of course unique food offerings. I hope you have some time planned out to experience this fantastic festival, it really has grown on me over the years!
Good luck with the continued planning of your upcoming trip and let us know if you have any further questions, we love talking about all things Disney!
Happy planning,
Nick
