I have made reservations for dinner at restaurant Marrakesh for 1-31. My question is given that I have 2 children who LOVE couscous, can I order the adult sized chicken & couscous, and have them split the plate? is there a split plate fee?

    Hi Brandy,

I love to hear about children whose culinary tastes extend beyond pizza and chicken tenders! My daughters have always been adventurous eaters, in large part, I think, because they spent so much time at Epcot when they were growing up. Dining out is so much more enjoyable when the young members of the family are into trying new things.

You should have no problem with your children sharing an adult meal at Restaurant Marrakesh. My husband and I sometimes split an entree at Walt Disney World so that we can have more room for appetizers and dessert. We've never had an issue doing that, and I never recall paying a split fee. Often, the dish will be divided in the kitchen and served on two plates so that we don't have to do the split ourselves.

You also can ask your server if it is possible to get two children's portions of the chicken and couscous and, if so, if it would be less costly than the one adult portion.

Please let me know if you have any other questions about dining at Epcot or any other Walt Disney World restaurant. Enjoy your time with your family!
