I made reservations for dinner Monday night April 17th, to ensure front row seating for my small children at the parade, but I worry they won't stay awake long enuf, do u feel without reservations my kids won't get close enuf to see the parade?

Hello again, Melissa! Just a few more days until you are enjoying all there is to see and do at the Happiest Place on Earth!

I often have the same concern about my daughter staying awake for nighttime entertainment in the parks. We typically start our park days pretty early which means she is asleep by 8:30 p.m. or so. However, if she happens to get a great afternoon nap, then she can usually make it through the first nighttime parade. Since you have already made reservations for one of the Main Street Electrical Parade dining packages, I suggest planning your day to include an afternoon nap or some downtime. With the preferred viewing provided as part of the dining package, it really makes it easy and hassle free to find a great spot for the parade. You just show up and you're all set. So I think it's worth it in that regard. You should also know that many of the parade floats are tall so a front-row seat isn't necessarily required to enjoy the parade.

There are lots of great places to view the parade even without preferred viewing access, but it involves finding a spot early and waiting a bit for the parade to start. With my young daughter, I prefer to view  nighttime entertainment from a spot in Town Square. This allows us to make a quick escape from the park once the parade or fireworks have ended.

    See ya real soon!
