    I have made my reservations with dining plan for August 17-24, 2013 and purchased the dining plan. If the dining plan becomes free will they change mine or do I call to take advantage if this becomes available?

    Hi Christina!  Congratulations on making your reservations for August.   You have asked a great question!  Walt Disney World Reservations will not automatically change your reservation to include Free Dining.  If Free Dining becomes available for your dates, you will want to call Disney directly at (407) W-DISNEY to determine whether or not your booking qualifies for the offer.   Keep an eye on http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/ to see if Free Dining becomes available for your vacation. 

    Keep in mind that if Free Dining becomes available for your dates, you will want to consider some things.  The Free Dining promotion offers guests an option to add a Disney Dining Plan for free when rooms and tickets are paid for without a discount applied.  You will have to do the math.  Sometimes it's less expensive to forgo the Free Dining and reserve a discounted resort room.  Another consideration is the size of your family, and how much you plan to eat at those outstanding Disney restaurants.
