I've made reservations at Cinderella's royal table. I'm travelling with hubby and 9 year old son. Is he going to be out of place? He's a good sport but I don't want to embarrass him. Someone said they give plastic swords to the boys? Is that so?

    Hi Cheryl!

I find myself in the same situation! I took my boys when they were small, although they claim to have no recollection (other than the cute picture of them posing with a princess, which I have purposely posted on my fridge to refresh their memories). We have reservations there next month and they are not too convinced, but are willing to be good sports too for their little sister's sake! No but seriously, he may not love having to pose with a princess for the photos which are included with the meal, but if you take the picture as a family it won't be as bad. Other than that, the setting is very elegant, the food is delicious and he can just smile and wave when the Princesses swing by your table. I do recall them giving the boys swords and I believe that they still do!
