Hey there Carrie from California! Welcome to planDisney. This Carrie from California is here to help answer your planning question!
I'm excited to see that your trip is just around the corner! I just read your question and I think I understand what you are inquiring about. I hope you got the name change done easily, however it shouldn't matter what name is on the ticket. The ticket doesn't get officially assigned to someone until they scan the ticket for the first time. When you do this at the gate, a Cast Member will take your picture and this is what assigns a ticket to someone. If you delete a ticket from your Disneyland app or from your Disney account, the ticket will still have reservations attached to it unless you cancel. The error message you are getting for your five tickets means that you already have reservations for all days on the tickets.
To check the current reservations attached to these tickets, you can hover over "My Disneyland" on the Disneyland website and then click on "
Ticket and Reservation Details". Then click on "View My Park Reservations". On this new page, you can scroll and see "Upcoming Reservations" for all of the tickets linked to your account. If you were trying to change your reservations, you will need to click on "Cancel Reservations" on that page. Once you've canceled your reservations, you can book new ones.
I do recommend checking the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar before you cancel your reservations. This is because as you are getting very close to your arrival dates, the calendar does book up. I don't want you to cancel and then there not be any availability to make new reservations.
Carrie, I hope this was helpful and you now can navigate your ticket situation so that you can go and experience all the magic at Disneyland Resort. See you real soon!
