I made reservations at Caribbean Beach & Wilderness Lodge, through a friend of mine at Disney, and received a discount; I was wondering if I can add the Dining Package when I check in for our trip 10/1 - 10/11? Thank you, this is really cool of you gu

Hi, Jeffrey! I'm not sure of the details of your reservations including how you booked your travel and the stipulations of your discount(s). Yet, for most circumstances, you can add a Disney Dining Plan to a reservation as long as there are park tickets associated -- thus, making it a "package."  (There are few exceptions including those who are Annual Passholders.) However, you must add your DDP in advance of check-in -- at least three days. In addition, you must know that if you have a room-only reservation your travel agent or the WDW Travel Planners will need to cancel your current reservation and book a new one -- which will be subject to availability and any applicable discounts available for that booking. I certainly don't hold myself out as an expert travel your best bet is to consult with whom you booked your reservation and/or the WDW Travel Planners at 407-WDISNEY. They can answer specific questions that pertain to the details of your travel arrangements. It certainly sounds like you've got some great plans! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
