Hi, Donna! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am so excited to hEAR that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with your granddaughter! There is nothing like experiencing Disney magic through the eyes of a child. I am sure it will be a
"grand" adventure.
Some of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort memories are of visiting
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique with my daughter. I am sure your little
princess is looking forward to her magical transformation, and I know your entire family cannot wait to watch this pixie-dusted moment. Children visiting Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique must be accompanied by an adult (18 years of age or older), but adults accompanying a child do not need to be added to the reservation in any way.
While there is no specific limit to the number of adults who may visit Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique with a child, please keep in mind that space in the boutique is limited. This is a popular activity, so there are usually quite a few makeovers taking place at the same time, and the Fairy Godmothers-in-Training need space to work their magic. When I visited Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique with my daughter, my husband, son, and I were able to watch the experience, but I think it would have been too crowded for any additional family members. If your travel party is larger, perhaps you could take turns watching. The entire makeover process takes anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes, so there would be plenty of time for everyone to watch the magic take place.
After your granddaughter's royal transformation, be sure to stop by
Princess Fairytale Hall to
visit some fellow princesses. A
character dining experience such as
Cinderella's Royal Table would also be a wonderful treat for your little princess. Remember to have the
Disney PhotoPass Service photographers capture all of these magical moments. With the purchase of
Memory Maker, you will have access to unlimited downloads of all of your picture-perfect photos.
Have a magical day!
Samantha
