Hello William,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us a question! I’ve been lucky enough to do the
Behind the Seeds tour at
EPCOT several times, but
Wild Africa Trek at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is definitely on my Disney bucket list. I’ve heard nothing but praise for the experience, so I’m sure that you’re in for a real treat!
Based on my experience, if you’re asked to present identification when you check in for these experiences, you’ll only need to show an ID for the “lead Guest” – that is, the person who booked the experience for everyone else. You may also need to show the credit card that you used to prepay for your adventures. Although you can bring your passport along with you to use as identification, I understand that sometimes it’s best to leave that precious documentation in your hotel room’s safe. I’m happy to say that I’ve had no trouble using my Canadian driver’s license as a form of identification whenever one has been requested at Walt Disney World Resort. So long as the document has your picture, along with your full name and date of birth, you should be good to go!
Travelling tip: I have pictures of my family’s passports stored in password-protected albums on my phone. I’ve also found, especially in our increasingly digital world, that just showing a picture is enough as a form of identification, both inside and outside of the Disney Parks. If you feel comfortable doing so, I’d recommend having either a picture or a photocopy of your family’s passports (and even yours if you aren’t carrying it with you) on hand throughout your travels.
Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
