Hi , I made reservations back in February . This week (after 7 years of marriage ) I finally legally changed my last name and have a new id with my married name . My question is ... will this be a problem at check in time ?

    Hi Maureen!

So glad that you have enjoyed your last seven years of marriage - I can think of no better way of celebrating than by a visit to Walt Disney World!  Are you the lead guest on the reservation, or your husband?  If it is anyone other than yourself, simply call 1-407-WDISNEY and let them know that you would like to make a name change.  However, if the reservation has you as the lead guest, it might be a little trickier....  I would still give the folks at Disney a call and see what they recommend, but I am pretty certain that a copy of your birth certificate will do the trick.  Since your maiden name will be listed on both the birth certificate and the reservation, you should be A OK!  I honestly don't foresee any problems with a legal name change, but I make the call just in case.  Have a wonderful vacation!
