I have made a reservation for my 7-year old daughter to attend the Wonderland Tea Party at the Grand Floridian. We also have a 2-year old son, and was wondering what would could do with him for the hour my daughter is enjoying her tea time?

With only an hour, I would explore some of the Grand Floridian's amenities.

There is a child’s TV area in the lobby playing Disney cartoons complete with a child size sofa and table with chairs. On the second floor of the main building is the M. Mouse Mercantile shop with kid-friendly merchandise.

The beach would provide a nice sandy area for your son to play. There are relaxing lounge chairs and a bench swing to enjoy.  The resort has many beautiful walkways and visiting the marina may be fun for your little guy. Take a walk to the front entrance and have your son pose for a picture by the 1929 white Cadillac.

When my son was 2 his favorite activity was riding the monorail or Disney “choo choo“. You could take a round-trip ride on the resort monorail line.

For a snack, Gasparilla Grill and Games offers a counter service menu with outdoor tables that face Cinderella’s Castle.
