Hi! I made a reservation for Wine Country Trattoria but I don't see how to get it to link to the World of Color pass - do I need to call the restaurant?

Hi there, Heather! Welcome to planDisney!

There is definitely some magic in your future! Dining at Wine Country Trattoria and catching World of Color is a perfect way to close out a day at the Happiest Place on Earth! With the World of Color Dining Packages, once you have made your lunch or dinner reservations as usual at Wine Country Trattoria or Storytellers Cafe, you simply ask your server upon arrival for the dining package upgrade. Since it's not something that is pre-bookable, it only shows up in your Disneyland Mobile App as a regular dining reservation. I know, sometimes this feels a little counter intuitive for us Disney planners!

With your reservation already in place, let's make sure all your Disneyland ducks are in a row so it's smooth sailing once you arrive at those gates. All Guests expecting to enjoy the World of Color Dining Package will need both a theme park ticket and theme park reservation for Disney California Adventure Park. Dining packages are available on a first come, first serve basis. While I personally have not had an issue securing the dining package this way, if you have your heart set on including this experience in your plans, you may want to plan for a lunch instead of a dinner, just in case. You could also speak with the host ahead of time if you have any specific questions. All Guests participating in the dining package will receive a voucher for a reserved viewing area for either the first or second show. Depending on availability, you will be able to request your preference! While you will be in a reserved viewing area, you might still want to head there 30-40 minutes ahead of showtime to secure your spot within the space. To pass the time once you're settled, I recommend grabbing a sweet treat on the way over! The Disney Parks Blog just released the Holiday Foodie Guide so you can even earmark some must-try treats before you even get to the parks!

All that's left to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy the wonder of World of Color! If you are planning to visit before January 8th, World of Color - Season of Light will get you in that holly jolly spirit! The same Disney storytelling you love through water, lights, and projections, but with some festive spirit that will have you humming along to some of your favorite seasonal tunes.

Heather, I sure hope this was helpful! If you have any more questions, you know where to find us here at planDisney!

    Magic awaits!
