Howdy Nicole! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with your question. I'll see what I can do about ropin' in an answer.
It sounds like you have a fantastic wilderness adventure planned at the
Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. One of the first resorts that opened its gates to Walt Disney World Guests shortly after the October 1971 opening of the
Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is a relaxing slice of pioneer paradise that offers
unique amenities and
plenty of down home fun. Be sure to check the
Disney Resort Hotels: Know Before You Go information page as your stay approaches to keep up with operational updates and offerings at your resort.
Nicole, when it comes to setting up and settling down for the night, you have
several options for accommodations back at the ranch. All sites sleep up to ten campers, so there will be plenty of space for a whole bunch of cowpokes. While booking, a "Tent or Pop Up Campsite," will provide room for a pop-up plus two tents, your group will have more space in a slightly larger Preferred Campsite, and even more in a Full Hook-Up Campsite. You'll want to avoid booking a Premium Campsite or Premium Meadow Campsite, as these are meant for larger RV's and may not include a sandy spot to stake down a tent. All campsites offer serene woodland scenery that is sure to help any traveler unwind after a busy day in the theme parks.
I hope this helps as you continue to plan your spring roundup to the Most Magical Place on Earth. If there is anything else we can do as your vacation nears, mosey on by and visit us again; we love to help!
You've got a friend in me,
