I have made a reservation for a vacation package and placed a deposit down. Do I need to pay the package in full in order to make park reservations?

Welcome to planDisney, Jeff! GAWRSH! It's great to see you hEAR planning a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Jeff, traveling this fall you'll be just in time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort. I'll be headed to the Walt Disney World Resort this fall as well and I can't wait to experience the new nighttime spectaculars: Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park and Harmonious at EPCOT. I hope your excitement is building for your own trip as you continue to make plans. Speaking of plans, let's talk about the Disney Park Pass reservation system.

Once your vacation package is linked to your My Disney Experience account you are welcome (and encouraged) to go ahead and make those Disney Park Pass reservations as soon as possible. Your vacation package does NOT need to be paid in full to secure those complimentary park reservations. Jeff, I'll also encourage you to make any Advanced Dining Reservations in advance. As a guest of a Disney Resorts Collection hotel you are able to begin making dining reservations 60 days before your check-in date for the length of your stay (up to 10 days).

Jeff, I hope this information is helpful as you're counting down the days to November. If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to come on back to planDisney.

Wishing you a trip full of Magic!
