Hiya Zahra!
Thank you for sending us this question, and welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! I am so sorry to hear that you will not be able to attend your magical vacation. As Remy once said: "the only thing predictable about life is its unpredictability." However, there are a few things you can do to cancel your reservations.
Theme park tickets are, unfortunately, non-refundable and cannot be cancelled. However, there are two ways you can use this ticket. First,
the value of unused, expired theme park tickets can be used as a credit and put toward purchasing your next theme park ticket. Since expired theme park tickets do not appear in your My Disney Experience account, you must
contact a Cast Member to use this credit. Second, if another member of your family wants to take your place, you can always
reassign your theme park ticket to them. This can be done by going into the My Plans section online and finding your ticket in the "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" section. Make sure that the family member is in your "
Family & Friends List" to be able to reassign it to them!
As for other reservations, your party can either cancel them or modify the size of the part on the reservation. Your theme park reservations, for example, can be cancelled in the "My Plans" section on My Disney Experience. Dining and Resort hotel reservations can also be modified in the "My Plans" section, but if you ever need assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to a Cast Member via chat,
email or
phone.
I hope this was helpful, Zahra, and that you will be able to visit the Walt Disney World Resort real soon. If you have any other questions or if you want to start planning your next vacation, please don't hesitate to reach back out. It is an honour to bring you some pixie dust in this not-so-magical time!
Have a magical day,
Ariane
