Hi! I made a reservation in the T-Rex Restaurant in the Downtown Disney because my boy of 5yrs old will have 6, so I want to know if he would have any special celebration in our lunch time. Thanks a lot for your answer!

    Hi Fabrizzio,

Please extend the warmest birthday wishes to your son from the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

Disney does not deliver custom birthday cakes to the T-Rex restaurant in Downtown Disney.  However, T-Rex offers a sumptuous alternative!  They have an amazing dessert called the "chocolate extinction."  It is a brownie cake with caramel and a variety of other tasty toppings.  It is served over dry ice so that when it arrives at your table it appears to be smoking.  Very cool!  This $14.99 dessert serves 4-6 hungry people and is a lovely alternative to a traditional birthday cake.  There's no need to order this delicacy in advance of your visit.  Just tell your server (or slip him or her a note) at the beginning of your meal regarding your son's birthday.  The servers will be happy to sing "happy birthday" to your son.  Then be sure to order the "chocolate extinction" for dessert. Or, instead of this dessert, you could request a complimentary ice cream sundae for only the birthday boy.  Either way, it sounds like a yummy end to a fun lunch.

I hope your son's birthday celebration is magical!
