Hello, Krista! I always love when a fellow Washingtonian stops by planDisney! A very warm welcome to you! I'm so thrilled you have a stay at the Happiest Place on Earth coming up very soon.
Thanks for asking this great question about linking your theme park tickets and reservations to the
Disneyland app. Let's first locate that ticket ID number! In your email confirmation, see if you can find a link to "Access Your eTickets." This link should allow you to view your theme park ticket where then the ticket ID number should be located underneath the barcode. Or another way to find the ticket ID number is to log into your Disney account
on the Disneyland website and within the "My Disneyland" drop-down menu at the far right of the top navigation bar, select "My Plans." From here, select one of your park day reservations and click the "Manage Reservation" box to the right. You should see a Confirmation Number there associated with each reservation. The confirmation number will also serve as your ticket number.
Once you have your ticket ID number, Krista, you'll be able to link your theme park tickets to the Disneyland app by clicking on the (☰) at the bottom right of the screen and selecting "My Tickets & Passes." Then click on the (+) sign in the top right corner and select “Link Tickets & Passes” to type in the theme park ticket numbers where they will be added to your Disneyland app!
If all else fails, Krista, I suggest reaching out to Guest Services either by
giving them a call or initiating a chat from the
"Help" page on the Disneyland website. The help chat box hovers on the right-hand side of your screen and is a great resource to connect with a friendly and helpful Cast Member who can assist you. I use it all the time!
Not only do you have a countdown to visit the Happiest Place on Earth, Krista, but you will be staying at the most luxurious and convenient resort in all of Disneyland - the Grand Californian! How exciting! One of the best perks while staying at this beautiful resort is the proximity to the theme parks. You'll easily be able to head back to your room after a wild and wet ride down Grizzly River Run!
I hope I was able to answer your question, Krista, and you've got what you need to begin your Disneyland visit! But if you're still feeling stuck, please don't hesitate to
send me another question, and I'd be happy to help! Or I'd love to share more of my tips and recommendations for a truly magical time in Disneyland, like maybe where to find seasonal treats or some strategies to make sure you hit all your top priorities.
See you real soon!
Warmest wishes,
McCayla
