    We have just made a reservation for Saratoga Springs resort next sept 2013. Is there a way of emailing the resort to put in a room request or is it too early? We love downtown disney so really want to be in the building nearest to it. Thanks

    Hi Kerry-anne! Room assignments aren't done until about seven days in advance.  The best thing for you to do at this point is to call and put a request on your reservation that you have. Then about a week out you can fax a request for a specific area to the resort. Please note that although all Disney resorts take your requests seriously they often can't move mountains and tell other guests to leave rooms already occupied. Even in the Fort Wilderness campgrounds this happens when guests decide to stay longer then their current reservation. I can say from experience that your resort will try very hard to put you as close as possible to the most magical room there.
