Hey Howdy Hey Cibele and welcome to planDisney!
I love how the excitement just continues to grow after you make your initial reservations to Walt Disney World Resort. There is so much to look forward to from attractions in the parks, things to do around the resorts as well as what restaurants you want to try! Before I get too far ahead of myself, let's talk about making payments towards your reservation.
Making payments towards your vacation will be possible if you booked a
vacation package for Walt Disney World, which includes tickets and
Disney Resort Collection accommodations. Payments can be made through your
My Disney Experience account, so let's make sure you have your reservation connected to your account first.
After you made your reservation, you should have received a confirmation email confirming your reservation with a confirmation number. Copy this confirmation number and log onto your My Disney Experience account. At the top, you should see an icon that looks like a hotel. Hover over it and click "Link Reservation". Copy the confirmation number here and you are set.
Next, scroll to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section. You should see your reservation linked here. On the far right, you should also see a link to "Make Payment". Click on that link and then you should be prompted with the steps moving forward to make a payment. Just note, that you can make a payment towards your vacation package but the final total of your package is due 30 days from your date of arrival.
If you made a reservation for your
hotel only, you cannot pay in advance. The total amount due would be due upon check-in to your resort.
While you are in your My Disney Experience account, make sure you can also see your linked theme park tickets. When you booked your initial reservations, you should also have been prompted to make your
Theme Park Reservations as well, so don't forget to check that these are there too. If you still are planning your trip, make sure not to forget this step! There is no fee associated with making your reservations but they are required to get into the parks.
Best of luck to you with the continued planning of your upcoming trip. If you have any further questions feel free to stop back and ask away! We love talking about all things Walt Disney World!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
