Bright Suns, Susan! Thank
you for bringing this great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Congratulations on doing your research before hitting the hyperdrive on your way to Batuu!
When I flew to Batuu during my last
Disneyland Resort vacation, I found
Oga's Cantina and
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo to complement each other perfectly. While Oga's Cantina is ideal for enjoying a
quick drink before or after a meal, Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is perfect for
lunch or dinner.
I'm happy to tell you that Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo will not require reservations, as it is a
Quick-Service dining location. You can even use the
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering to speed up the process and get to your food in less than 12 parsecs!
My husband and I loved Chef Strono "Cookie" Tuggs' creations - the Felucian Garden Spread and the Smoked Kaadu Ribs are delicious!
I'm also happy to tell you that there is another destination at the Black Spire Outpost that serves delicious food:
Ronto Roasters. There, the pitmaster droid roasts delicious sausages using a podracer engine as a fire pit! The
sausages are then served with tangy slaw in pita bread to feed hungry space travelers. Ronto Roasters is also a Quick-Service restaurant, and no reservations will be needed.
I hope these tips help you make the most of your time at
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, Susan, so that you can only have
good feelings about this! If more questions pop up before you cross the galaxy, please, stop by!
May the magic (and the Force) be with you,
Julie
