I made reservation for myself and also separate reservations for my sister. How can I change things on her reservation so that she is in control and makes her own plans? Right now it shows me as making her plans which we don't want.

Hi, Karen, and thanks for sending me your question. I’m happy to help get you and your sister all squared away.

It sounds like you accidentally linked a resort reservation to your account when, in fact, it should be linked to your sister’s account. To change that, you’ll need to login to your My Disney Experience account. Navigate to the section entitled, “My Reservations” and locate the reservation you want to unlink. You should see an option to “Modify Reservation.” Clicking that should allow you to remove the reservation from your account. If that is not the case, you’ll need to call the Disney Resort Reservations line for help.

If I’ve misunderstood, and you’re trying to remove your sister from your Friends and Family list, you will take a different approach. To do that, go to “My Family & Friends” in your account. From there, locate your sister’s name and hit the update link. Look for the link that says “Remove from This List.” Click that. Confirm the action when you are prompted to do so. If she has her own account already set up, you can request to reconnect her at another point in the future. If she does not have her own account already set up, she will be permanently deleted and you will not be able to reconnect with her until she does set up her own account. If you encounter any difficulties with that process, you’ll need to call (407) 939-4357 for help.

I know technical explanations can be kind of tricky, Karen. I hope that this answer saves you from having to make a phone call.

In any case, I hope that both you and your sister have a great time and get to see some of Disney’s beloved sisters during your trip. If so, be sure to give Anna and Elsa my best. If you happen to see Anastasia and Drizella, I recommend running the other way!
