Hello, Laura and welcome to planDisney!

Laura, May is a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort and I hope you're able to experience all the spring season has to offer like the Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival! From the outdoor kitchens to the perfectly manicured topiaries, strolling through EPCOT is bound to have your smile in full bloom like the flowers!

Now, Laura, since you're hoping to change your Disney Resorts Collection hotel, let's talk about how you can make that switch. Assuming you've booked your stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa directly through the Walt Disney World Resort you'll begin by signing into your My Disney Experience Account and clicking on your reservation. From there you should see a button that says "Modify Reservation." From there you should be able to book Disney's Art of Animation Resort (subject to availability). If you don't see a link to modify your reservation online, you'll need to call into the Disney Resort Hotel reservations line. If you have booked through a travel agent, you will want to reach out and have that agent make the change for you.

Laura, I hope this helps as you're modifying your plans. My family and I stayed in a Cars Family Suite at Disney's Art of Animal Resort a few years ago and loved not only the theming of this property, but the two full bathrooms inside the family suites.

Please steer the wheel back to planDisney with any additional questions. Best wishes for a trip as magnificent as Lighting McQueen's winning streak,

    Lauren
