Greetings Danielle!
It seems you've secured a reservation at
Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers at the Walt Disney World Resort, where the Force will guide you through the creation of your very own lightsaber. An experience like this, deep within
Disney’s Hollywood Studios, is a momentous occasion for any aspiring Jedi or Sith. However, it appears you've encountered a disturbance in the Force.
I don’t have full insight into your ticket type, but I’m going to assume that as a resident of the Outer Rim (Florida), you may be wielding an Annual Pass. Remember, even the most powerful Annual Passholders must secure a Theme Park Reservation to enter a park, and Block Out dates may be in effect.
To unlock the gates of Disney's Hollywood Studios, you’ll need both valid admission and a park reservation for the same day and park. However, the Force does offer a workaround: Annual Passholders can enter a park after 2:00 PM without a reservation, unless it’s a Saturday or Sunday at Magic Kingdom. There are also good-to-go days, which bypass the need for reservations entirely, depending on your pass type.
Speaking of passes, I’ve consulted the
Annual Passholder Admissions Calendar for today. It seems Incredi Pass, Sorcerer Pass, and Pirate Passholders could still secure a reservation for Disney's Animal Kingdom. You could then use your hyperdrive (or park hopping ability) to jump over to Disney's Hollywood Studios later in the day. Alternatively, if your Savi’s Workshop reservation is after 2:00 PM, you should be able to enter without needing a reservation, provided the stars align in your favor.
If none of these solutions bring balance to the Force, I suggest
reaching out directly to the Walt Disney World Resort. Explain your situation, and perhaps a cast member can assist in smoothing out the details of your journey. May the Force be with you!
