Just made a reservation at Be Our Guest. The details say that there is no character dining. I was told that the beast is in the library. Is he always there or is he considered character dining?

    Hi Stacey:

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for sending us your question.  Congratulations on securing a reservation for Be Our Guest Restaurant, that is one of the most popular Advanced Dining Reservations at Walt Disney World Resort and can be quite tricky to get!  Whenever I have dined at Be Our Guest Restaurant for dinner, the Beast has been meeting guests on the way out of the castle.  He does not come around to tables and sign autographs, there is just a photo opportunity after you have finished your dinner.  Please be aware that character appearances are not guaranteed and are subject to change.  Also, the Beast is typically available for dinner, not lunch reservations, so if you are looking for a photo opportunity with the Master of the Castle, you will need to be at the castle during dinner hours.

I hope you enjoy your time at Be Our Guest Restaurant Stacey.  Please let me know if you have any other questions, I would be happy to help.
