If I made a reservation can I go another date that is in green and says good to go?

Hi Maria! Thanks so much for swinging by planDisney with your question!

I know for many Guests returning to the magic, the theme park reservation system is still a relatively new system to navigate. I'm happy to be your guide! If your theme park ticket is active and before its expiration date, you can cancel and reschedule reservations as much as you like, subject to availability. One thing to keep in mind is if you are holding a single-day ticket, which is priced based on the day of the week and the time of year of your original date. There are 7 tiers that your ticket can fall into, each with a set of blackout dates except for the highest tier - Tier 6. When you enter the system to make a reservation and are logged into your Disneyland account, the system will automatically show you available dates for your ticket tier, so if you are seeing a date that is in blue, you are good to go!

The first step will be to cancel your original reservation, then enter the system again from the beginning to book your new date. I always recommend checking the theme park reservation calendar to be sure your new date is available before making any cancellations. You'll also want to make sure it's not a block-out date for you. Personally, I like to make changes in the Disneyland Mobile App right from my phone. When you head into the app, tap the three-bar menu in the bottom right-hand corner and select "Future Plans". Scroll to the date you'd like to cancel and follow the prompts through from there. Once it's officially canceled, just tap the "+" in the bottom navigation bar and choose "Make a Park Reservation" to start the process anew!

Maria, I hope that was helpful! As you are looking at the year ahead, there are already some very fun events and festivals on the calendar for January 2023! The Lunar New Year Celebration will kick off on January 20th at Disney California Adventure Park and run through February 15th. This is a time to ring in the year of the Rabbit and participate in a multicultural celebration filled with wishes for health and prosperity for the year ahead. Enjoy Mulan's Lunar New Year Procession, live entertainment, and tasty bites! I love to grab a Sip and Savor Pass from the Lunar New Year Marketplace to snack my way through my Disney California Adventure day!
