Hi Julie!
It sounds like you are planning a magical trip to visit Walt Disney World Resort during this year's holiday season. This is a great time of year for your vacation as you will be able to enjoy special holiday entertainment, decorations and treats throughout Walt Disney World Resort. Be sure to make a stop at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa to see its incredible life-size gingerbread house!
During evenings this holiday season, Magic Kingdom will close on select nights at 6:00 p.m. to allow for
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. While the party begins at 7:00 p.m., the theme park will close to Guests with standard theme park tickets at 6:00 p.m., at which point Guests who do not have party tickets will be directed to theme park exits. If you do not have a ticket to that evening's Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you will not be able to enjoy Magic Kingdom's attractions, entertainment and dining after the party closes at 6:00 p.m. So if you do not have a party ticket, you will not be able to enjoy your dining reservation at 6:15 p.m.
You have lots of other options for dinner after your Magic Kingdom day. You could choose to enjoy dinner at one of resorts in the Magic Kingdom area, such as
California Grill or
Kona Cafe, or you could enjoy dinner at Disney Springs. Check out
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' for incredible food, including his amazing fried chicken!
Let us know if you have any other questions as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
